CATIA V5 is the first CAD/CAM/CAE system to include internet and technology standards. We meanwhile use CATIA V5 parallel to our existing installations to gain additional benefit from its extended functions. The practical experience we have gained with V5 has convinced us of the benefits the new CATIA version has to offer and has strengthened our resolve to phase in V5 for all product development processes.
